Fire Alarm & Smoke Detector
- A fire alarm system is a set of electric/electronic devices/equipment working together to detect and alert people through visual and audio
appliances when smoke/fire is present. These alarms may be activated from smoke detectors, heat detectors, water flow sensors, which are automatic
or from a manual fire alarm pull station.
- A smoke detector is a device that senses smoke, typically as an indicator of fire. Commercial and residential security devices issue a signal to a
fire alarm control panel as part of a fire alarm system, while household detectors, known as smoke alarms, generally issue a local audible or visual
alarm from the detector itself.
